The Centre for Lebanese Studies and A. Moise Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies at North Carolina State University organized a workshop about “Using Archives in Teaching the History of the Lebanese Diaspora” on Saturday March 03, 2018 at the Lebanese American University Beirut Campus .
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Akram Khater, the Director of Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies.
The workshop looked at the causes and process of migration, its effects on gender, class and race, and finally how these transformations were carried back to Lebanon by the returning immigrants.
