Capacity Building

How to conduct Oral History interviews? How to save and archive interviews? How to enhance students non-violent communication skills? How will we execute the oral history research projects to document the civil war local social history?
This is what kept us busy during workshop 3 of the “From Oral History to a Better Understanding of the Past”.

In partnership, LAH and ForumZFD organized the third workshop as part of the “From Local History to a Better Understanding of the Past” project. On day 1, we worked on supporting teachers to lead students oral research projects around a variety of topics that shed light on social and humanitarian facets of the lives of people during the civil war period. They were also trained on how to prepare the questions, conduct the interviews, as well as the oral history values.
