Thinking through multiple interpretations and controversial history workshop

Thinking through multiple interpretations and controversial history was the theme that brought together the facilitators at LAH for a two-day workshop facilitated by Nayla Hamadeh and Hussam Mohieddine. The team considered nuances between multiple interpretations and controversy over history. They also brainstormed together the aims of a controversial history curriculum, its strategies, learning environment, methodology, and cultural content. A lot of food for thought came out of their discussions and we will hopefully be publishing a few papers to share it.

The workshop comes as part of the partnership between LAH and Forumzfd and within LAH’s continuing commitment to explore approaches for teaching sensitive history.
