How to Make Our Students Young Historians ?(Institute 5)

The professional Development program “How to Make our Students Young Historians” continues in 2017 – 2018. The fourth workshop took place in October 2017, followed by the fifth on 16 – 17 February, 2018.
The fifth workshop focused primarily on the concept of historical significance and how we can help students to discern and explain significance. The workshop also offered an opportunity for participants to work in groups on the unit plans started earlier and that they will be presenting at the end of the program.
The two-years project is part of LAH’s long term commitment to advance the historical thinking approach in Lebanon. Five workshops have been already offered and the last workshop will take place on May 11 – 12, 2018. The focus this time will be on historical interpretations.
