The Lebanese Association for History, in partnership with UN Women, organized two seminars titled “From our Forgotten History: Children from Lebanon and the Issue of Illegal Adoption”. The seminars took place in Tripoli on March 23 and in Beirut on March 26 with the specialist on the issue of illegal adoption, Dr. Zeina Alloush.

Dr. Alloush shed light on the reality of “closed adoptions”. The presentation was followed by a discussion with the audience, including academics, history professors, and activists in the field of women’s and children’s rights and missing persons in Lebanon.
