Capacity Building

The first phase of the “New Approaches to History education: Towards a Deeper Understanding of the Past” project, which was implemented  in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), was launched. Four groups met during the first week (November 10-13) and included groups of history teachers and social coordinators. In the first round, we worked on building cooperative working groups, and we discussed the literature and methods of digital education. We also started training participants to use the Microsoft teams application to teach history. Through the workshop, the historical thinking approach and the most important skills that we have to develop among the learners have been highlighted. The studio included a performance by Dr. Christian Tuttle, Head of the History Department at the Jesuit University, who highlighted the role of the historian.
