“Let us try new approaches and make changes in our classrooms by helping our students focus on the present to plan for a better future” was the message addressed by LAH during the closing ceremony of the “New approaches to teaching History: Towards a better understanding of the past” program that gathered around 100 teachers who participated in the workshops during the academic year 2020-2021.
The keynote speakers during the ceremony included the president of the Association Mrs. Nayla Khodr Hamadeh, And the director of the peace building project at UNDP Ms. Joanna Nassar. There was also an appearance by many facilitators including Ms. Amira Hariri, Mrs.Jihane Francis, Mrs. Leila Zahoui, Mr.Hassan Abou Zeid, Dr.Amin Elias and Dr.Bassel Akar. And for this occasion, participants were offered a free of charge membership at LAH for a year
