In a special event organised at Dar el Nemer on July 6, LAH launched Dr. Amin Elias’s new book entitled Towards a New Path in History Education in Lebanon in which the author collected papers and recommendations presented at the “Talks about trends and approaches to teaching history in Lebanon”. The latter was a virtual conference held early in 2022, in partnership with UNDP Lebanon and collaboration with CLS, that had brought together university professors, academics, MEHE and CERD representatives and a  number of LAH members. Nayla Hamadeh moderated the seminar and three speakers contributed: Dr. Antoine Houkayyem, Dr. Hayfa El Imam, and Mr. Amal Whaybe. They discussed the book and its relevance to the course of developing history education in Lebanon. A critical conversation ensued followed by a cocktail and chats.
